Why is this called “Backbending with Grace?” At least the first half (I’m just watching it now) is standing poses, although done very gracefully. Just got to the end-no backbends.

A question: I’ve found balancing on any one foot causes pain for my arch. The pain lasts for a minute or so, and it halts me from following my yoga instructor as the class progresses. What is incorrect with my balancing, and how can I right it?

Comparing his arm size to his abdominal strength you can *nearly* guarantee he is lifting weights, all from yoga I would expect a tighter core and thinner arms.
